Botanical Garden Linz

Linz, AT

From 23/06/2018 to 28/10/2018

The Botanical Garden Linz used the time travel through the evolution of the earth and through life as their main summer exhibition in the open air. The 4-hectare big Botanical Garden on the Gugl serves as an oasis of tranquility for the people of Linz, with an average of around 80,000 visitors a year.
Their feedback on the exhibition was very positive, some guests came especially just for it and the garden management reported that it was perceived as a real enrichment.

Dr. Friedrich Schwarz, Head od Botanical Garden Linz:

As a summer focus exhibition in the open air, there was a real special feature: a time travel through the evolution of life and the earth.

We live in a fast-paced, hectic time in which many people feel pressured. This makes places like our Botanical Garden, where energy can be recharged, all the more valuable.

The last exhibition days were also very positive. Many people came especially to see the exhibition. The feedback was very positive throughout. It was very worthwhile to have had this exhibition in the garden and it was a real enrichment. I am very grateful for it!
