Luzern lakeside Promenade

Lucern, CH

From 06/05/2023 to 06/06/2023

In the summer of 2023, the exhibition was on display for a month on Lucerne’s very busy Lakeside promenade. With the kind support of the ‘Verkehrshaus der Schweiz’ (Swiss Museum of Transport) and the city of Lucerne, hundreds of visitors were able to experience the 1 km walk through the evolutionary history of the earth between the Hotel Palace and the ‘Verkehrshaus der Schweiz’ in a very special way.

Testimonials

Martin Ettlinger, Head of Development & Market | Verkehrshaus der Schweiz:
The cooperation has been a pleasure for us since the first meeting. Together, we have succeeded in realizing something ambitious – a clear illustration of our insignificance as human beings but, above all, of the power of Mother Earth. In the first five months of the year, the Verkehrshaus der Schweiz (Swiss Museum of Transport) recorded record-breaking visitor numbers. It’s nice if synergies have emerged from this.

Dominik Frei, City of Lucerne:
Thank you for the cooperation. It was a pleasure to work with all of you. And the result has convinced me. This is how work is fun, or in the end it is no longer classic “work” for me, but rather more …

Start of the Walk: Carl-Spitteler-Quai (east of the Grand Casino & Palace Hotel), and following along the Luzernerquai towards the Verkehrshaus.
