Opening ‘From the Cosmos to the Bud,’ featuring two fascinating exhibitions on the theme of evolution, on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.
In the outdoor area ‘Walk Through Time… from Stardust to Us’ by the Foundation for the Third Millennium, exploring the origin and evolutionary history of Earth. In the Orangery, ‘Evolution of Plants,’ based on the Evolution Garden at the Bern Botanical Garden.

The Swiss Botanical Garden St. Gallen in the district of Stephanshorn is home to around 8,000 plant species from all over the world on an area of 2 hectares. In addition to the tropical house with rainforest plants, succulents and orchids, the architecturally remarkable alpine house is also a special feature.

Also adjacent to the Garden, is the Natural History Museum, with a fascinating exhibition on the biodiversity, geology and history of the region.
